Iconostasis Icon Fundraiser

I am raising funds to furnish the St. Maximus Fellowship iconostasis with the standard icons (links below) that are appropriate for an iconostasis.

Below are the links to the icons (and a few other items) that will be used for the iconostasis:

First Meeting Was a Success!

The St. Maximus Eastern Catholic Fellowship met yesterday for a Reader’s Typika service and it was a success! Thank you to all who were able to come! I was truly honored to pray with you all in the Eastern tradition. For those who were not able to come, not to worry, as we will have another service in two weeks with Fr. Dcn. Gregory Haddad, who will also distribute Holy Communion to all Catholics present. Stay turned for more updates on the Services page.

If you know anyone in the Northeast Louisiana area that may be able to attend the next service, please share this information with them and have them email me at louisianaeasterncatholics@gmail.com if there are any questions!

SMCF is Now Officially an Outreach!

I am excited to announce that the St. Maximus the Confessor Eastern Catholic Fellowship is now an official outreach of St. Basil the Great Byzantine Catholic Church (Irving TX) and is under supervision of Fr. Elias Rafaj. This not only makes the fellowship official, it also opens up opportunities for the celebration of the Divine Liturgy, along with direction from an experienced pastor of the church! Please pray the Lord will bless the fellowship and that Eastern Catholicism will flourish in Northeast Louisiana.
